Help build what insurance software should have been.
Mint is the management system for independent insurance agencies, built in El Paso, Texas, by people who work in insurance.
What we’re building
The system an agency runs its day on.
Clients, policies, renewals, pending cancellations, money, documents, messages and AI in one place, for agencies in Texas and New Mexico.
- Built for producers, CSRs and owners
- English and Spanish on every screen
- Each agency’s data kept apart from every other

How we think
Four rules we build by.
- 01
Work from real agency problems.
Every feature starts at an agency desk: a renewal that slipped, a cancellation nobody saw, a form typed twice.
- 02
Bilingual from day one.
English and Spanish ship together, on every screen. Spanish is not a translation added at the end.
- 03
Ship small and often.
Small changes in front of agencies early, then fixed fast. Something in use beats a plan on a slide.
- 04
The customer’s data is the customer’s.
Each agency’s book is walled off from every other. Inboxes and AI conversations stay private to the person they belong to.
What we value
What we look for in each other.
Plain words
We write like the people we build for. If an agent wouldn’t say it at the counter, it doesn’t go on a screen.
Ownership
You build it, you watch it in use, you fix what you find.
Care with money and data
Other people’s clients and payments pass through what we build. We check twice.
Honesty about what’s done
We say what is ready and what is still in development, to agencies and to each other.
Learning the trade
Carriers, endorsements, non-pay cancellations. Knowing insurance makes the software better.
Respect for the desk
Producers and CSRs are busy. Every extra click is time taken from a client.
